Snacks, Snacks, Snacks

With preparing for my comprehensive exam for graduate school, getting ready for presentations and doing homework, I have been extremely stressed and busy. Unfortunately, I have had limited time to post and come up with recipes.

My parents went to the Natural Food Expo East in Baltimore the other weekend and brought back so many samples of new natural foods for us to try out! So I made a list of my favorite snacks and drinks, new and old, that I think you would enjoy!

  1. One of my all-time favorites is Annie’s Homegrown Whole Wheat Bunnies. Not only are these bunnies delicious but they are cute and fun to eat! They are 100 percent organic, made with real cheese and 8 grams of whole grains. They are also great dipped in nut butter.
  2. When I need a savory snack, I always go for Enlightened Crisps Mesquite BBQ. They are broad beans roasted in sunflower oil with added seasoning. They are full of fiber and protein while being low in fat and gluten-free.
  3. I Heart Keenwah Sweet Chili Quinoa Puffs are one my new They bring back memories of eating cheese puffs as a kid but in a healthier version! They are packed with protein, crunchy and gluten-free!
  4. Organic Chickpea Puffs Hippeas These are also amazing and every flavor is good. Pepper Power is my favorite! They are made from non-gmo chickpeas and release nitrogen in the air as they grow, making them good for the earth as well as good for you!

What are your favorite store-bought snacks?

  1. I’m obsessed with vegetable chips these days, and my latest favorite is the beet chips that I ordered online from The Nutbox recently. All natural and GMO free! SO good.
