Chocolate Moringa Tarts

I went for my first run at my new apartment! I ran over the oceanic bridge into Sandy hook and ran along the beach. I could definitely get used to living two minutes from the beach. We then walked to the farmers market and got our veggies for the week! To celebrate this wonderful saturday, I made raw chocolate moringa tarts!

Crust Recipe

1/2 cup coconut flakes

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1 cup walnuts

Blend all ingredients in a food processor. Grease tart pans and place the mixture in the pans. Spread the mixture evenly along the edges. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Chocolate Moringa “Moose” recipe

1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup milk

1 tsp half and half

1 tsp moringa

1/2 cup coconut flour

Melt chocolate chips and add them to the food processor. Add milk and half and half slowly while processing. Blend in the coconut flour and moringa. Place in freezer for 10 minutes.

Take the crust out and spread the chocolate on top! I used a tooth pick along the edges of the crust to get it out of the tin.
