After a long run this morning in this New Jersey summer heat, I needed something hearty and filling for lunch. I have seen these vegetable bbq wing recipes everywhere so I decided to try it my self!
1 cauliflower head
1 cup garbanzo bean flour
2 tsp garlic powder + 1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup water
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup bbq sauce
1 tsbp tequila habenero hot sauce
2 tsp red chili flakes
Preheat oven to 450 F. Mix together garbanzo bean flour, 2 tsp garlic powder, turmeric powder and water. Chop cauliflower into bite size pieces. Coat the cauliflower pieces in flour mixture and place on baking sheet. Let the access mixture drip off of cauliflower before placing on baking sheet. Bake for 18 minutes. Mix olive oil, bbq sauce, hot sauce, chili flakes and remaining garlic powder in a small bowl. Once cauliflower is done, brush bbq mixture on cauliflower. Bake for 5 more minutes.
