Honey Oat Breakfast Bars

So, we are still on a hunt for an apartment. We have had no luck and I am not sure why. It may be because we are a young couple with no previous landlords, as we both still live with our parents. And there are not many apartments in our area that are in our price range. We live near the jersey shore, so many places are over priced and the places that are in our range are not in the safest areas. But, we are keeping our fingers crossed as we continue our search.

Today, I decided to make honey oat breakfast bars. I have been eating oatmeal for breakfast for as long as I can remember, so I decided to make something different! These bars are soft on the inside and are slightly sweet. They are great for breakfast on the go!

Honey Oat Breakfast Bars

3/4 cup honey
1/2 cup vegetable oil
